Stewarts is a voluntary organisation providing comprehensive community-based services to people with an
intellectual disability. We support people with a wide range of support needs across residential settings, day
services, supported independent living, job advocacy and vocational training.
Purpose of the Post:
To function as an efficient and effective member of the dietetic team with the aim of providing an evidence
based clinical nutrition service to adults using Stewarts Care Services. This incorporates provision of supports
to individuals with complex nutritional needs or eating/drinking and swallowing difficulties. The post holder
will gain experience working as a valued member of the multi-disciplinary team, providing optimal personcentred care. Ongoing supervision and training will be available, to enhance knowledge and develop skills
and give access to further professional development.

▪ Bsc Hons Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. (Hold a recognised qualification in Dietetics approved by the
Dietitians Registration Board of CORU)
• Current registered as a Dietitian by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU.
• Experience in the area of adults &/or children with physical disability &/or learning disability
Salary and qualifications are in accordance with HSE consolidated pay scales €37,522 - €54,569 per annum
