Ingredients

10 prunes or 6 figs
1 egg
1 banana
3 – 4 drops vanilla extract
1 mug dry porridge oats
1 level teaspoon cinnamon
1 heaped dessert spoon flax seeds
1 heaped dessert spoon butter

Healthier Biscuits Directions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 175oCor 345 oF
    2. Optional to soak the figs in a bowl of warm wter for 15 – 60 minuts before use
    3. Place the banana and prunes or figs in a blender and pulse until smooth. Add the egg,
    vanilla extract, cinnamon and butter and blitz for a further 15 seconds. Add in 1/3 oats and
    blitz for a final 15 seconds.
    4. Place this wet mixture into a bowl, stir in the remaining oats and seeds with a wooden spoon
    5. Form 10 biscuits between 2 dessert spoons and place onto partchement paper on a baking
    tray
    6. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, rotate the tray and then flip the biscuits over to bake fully
    on the underside for a further 5 minutes. Place on a wire tray to cool and store in an airtight
    container.
