280g self raising flour
140g brown sugar
3 eggs
8 ripe bananas
110g walnuts
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
200g melted margarine
Oil for loaf tin

Banana Bread Directions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180oC or 350oF or gas mark 4
    2. Melt the margarine
    3. Beat eggs together
    4. Mash the bananans
    5. chope the walnuts if not already chopped
    6. mix the dry ingredients in a bowl
    7. add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture and mix well
    8. Put in a well oiled loaf tin
    9. Bake in oven for 60minutes
    10. Allow to cool before serving
